Comfort Inn & Suites Lake George

We spent a few days during New Year's Eve week, and had a lovely stay at this hotel. The front desk service was polite and accommodating, the room was spacious, the mattresses were super comfortable, there were plenty of towels in the bathroom, and the breakfast was quite varied and tasty. We enjoyed the 24-hour tea/coffee service. Would definitely stay again in the near future.

Great amenities,free breakfast, pool,hot tub. Room was large, very clean and comfortable and price was awesome. Staff is top notch!

My review is not based on my stay, but on the professionalism and level of service I received from the staff and particularly the manager Kara. I had reserved a room for a wedding in Lake George, and found out about a week before, that I would be driving my sister and her husband who live about 35 minutes south of the hotel back and forth to the wedding. I called what I thought was the hotel as it was a (518) area code to cancel the room a week prior. The rep I spoke with (who did not work at the hotel, but rather for a 3rd party that handles reservations) he could not find any reservations under my name, mobile number or the name of the wedding party. He said that I did not have a reservation, therefore I had no reservation to cancel. The week after returning home from the wedding, I noticed charges on my credit card from the hotel. I called the number back and that's is when I found out it was a 3rd party. I eventually spoke directly to the hotel staff, and explained I did not stay at the hotel, and that I tried to cancel a week before the wedding and was told I had no reservation. I sent them a screenshot of the 518 number I called with the date and time, and they immediately processed the refund. At every point of the interaction, the were courteous and professional. Will definitely stay there when in the Lake George area.

Clean and unpretentious hotel that provided great value for the price. I didn't use any amenities or have breakfast, but the condition of the property, exterior care (winter salt and plowing were very well kept up), and staff professionalism were great. If I came back to the area or had friends/family traveling here, I'd recommend this property and would definitely be comfortable staying here again.

Room is fair. Some things outdated. Rooms are clean but housekeeping does not come daily. Fridge in room is great. Lobby is great for groups to gather. Pool is pretty good. Hot tub is pretty good. Both could be cleaner but definitely swimmable. Service is pretty good. Dawn at the front desk goes above and beyond. She is kind, accommodating, and helpful. She really makes a difference in our stay. When she leaves, it can be difficult to find or access front desk help. Everyone is helpful when you find them. Location is great for winter and snow. Walking distance to Walgreens and restaurants. Parking could be improved. Lots of trailers parked for our last visit which made parking cars very difficult.

I have enjoyed offering my friends Quilting Retreats at the Comfort Inn in Lake George for the past several years. We always have an amazing time at this location. The staff goes out of their way to make sure everyone is happy and well taken care of. Thank you Kara,Pete, Dawn,Cindy, Marissa and Jeremy. The housekeeping staff is amazing.We find the place to be very cleaned and taking care of.we look forward to doing many retreats in the future at this location. thank you for a great place to make great memories with friends.

I stayed there over the Fourth of July weekend. Upon checking in I believe it was the manager, Kara. She was absolutely outstanding with a kind and gentle welcoming into the hotel. Very professional and kind.Risa And Pete were absolutely awesome at the front desk helping with many things over the two nights that we stayed there. Most importantly. Risa was able to make a commitment for A late check out on the last day which really came in handy. Pete was able to follow up on that and make sure that that happened for us so this made for a nice ending for a Fourth of July celebration. Also a huge five star to a woman I’m not sure her name she was working at the breakfast. Brunette, white female. She was outstanding on several occasions where I needed assistance with the morning food, and then on top of that when she closed down the breakfast station, she went into housekeeping, and it was obvious to me to see how detailed she was with her cleaning and she was able to grant me numerous request. Can’t say enough great things about her thank you for having such outstanding employees and even it is a month later I have been waiting for the proper time to give a great shout out to your team there thank you so much.

A stone's throw from lake George downtown. Staff is amazing from top to bottom. Room was clean, great amenities, the manager Kara was top notch. Can not say enough good things about our stay here.
